🌕 Full Moon in Libra — Old Stories Resurface for Resolution

Today’s Full Moon in Libra arrives like a mirror you didn’t realise you were still avoiding — the kind that reflects the parts of your past you thought you’d healed, outgrown, or buried because you didn’t have the capacity to deal with them at the time. Libra rules balance, reciprocity, and relational truth, and when the Moon reaches fullness here, anything unresolved in your emotional field becomes illuminated.
And this time, the timing is no accident.
We are still moving through Mercury retrograde in Pisces until April 10, a transit that dissolves boundaries between past and present. This retrograde began its shadow on March 20, and it has been quietly stirring the emotional waters ever since. Under this Full Moon, those waters rise.
You may feel as though others aren’t evolving, listening, or acknowledging your needs. Old hurts, misunderstandings, or versions of yourself may resurface — not because you’re regressing, but because this lunation is asking you to finally integrate what was left unfinished.
This isn’t punishment.
It’s correction.
It’s closure.
It’s clarity.
Why This Full Moon Feels So Intense
1. Mercury Retrograde Is Pulling the Past Forward
Pisces retrogrades dissolve emotional walls. Memories, unresolved conversations, and old relational patterns may feel suddenly vivid. You’re not imagining it — the astrology supports this resurfacing.
2. Libra Highlights Relational Imbalance
This Full Moon exposes where the scales have tipped too far — where you’ve been over‑functioning, over‑giving, or performing harmony instead of living in truth.
3. Aries–Libra Axis Is Activated
Aries wants independence and forward motion. Libra wants connection, fairness, and reciprocity. This lunation forces a recalibration between the two.
4. Emotional Clarity Is Peaking
Full Moons illuminate what’s been hidden. In Libra, that spotlight lands on:
past hurts
unspoken truths
relational patterns
the places you’ve abandoned yourself
5. It’s a Karmic Reset Point
Some relationships deepen. Some shift. Some complete. But all of it is happening to bring you back into alignment with yourself.
What This Means For You Today
If something from the past rises up — a memory, a wound, a conversation, a person — don’t assume you’re backsliding. You’re integrating.
This Full Moon is showing you:
what still needs to be acknowledged
what still needs to be released
what still needs to be rebalanced
what still needs to be reclaimed
And if resolution comes quickly or unexpectedly? That’s the Moon reminding you to appreciate the people who do show up — and to stop tolerating the ones who don’t.
How to Work With This Energy
Let the emotions rise instead of managing them.
Speak the truth you’ve been holding in.
Notice where you’ve been keeping the peace at your own expense.
Honour the relationships that are reciprocal, present, and willing.
Release the ones that rely on you abandoning yourself.
This Full Moon isn’t here to destabilise you. It’s here to free you from the emotional weight you’ve been carrying alone.
Personally, this full moon hit me hard. The trigger landed and I knew straight away it wasn’t about the situation — it was an old wound flaring. I got angry at first, then the tears came, and I let myself truly sob instead of shutting it down. For an hour. I stayed with myself, held my inner child, witnessed her pain, listened to her & reminded her she was safe. It lasted an hour and it was rough, and yes, I had to stop myself from sending a terrible email. But I knew I was releasing, not regressing. When the tears came again today, they were lighter and moved through more quickly, and I supported myself the same way from the start. This is what this full moon is all about.
What Signs Feel This Full Moon the Most?
This lunation hits the cardinal signs the hardest, followed by the air signs. But even if your sign isn’t highlighted as strongly, this Full Moon is still moving something in your field. Every sign is experiencing a shift — the themes may just land in different parts of your life or your old core wounds won't feel quite as overwhelming. If something is rising for you, it’s meaningful, and it’s part of what this lunation is asking you to feel & release.
🔥 1. Aries — feeling it at 100% intensity
Sorry my fellow Aries people - Aries is sitting directly opposite this Full Moon, and with the Sun currently in Aries, the spotlight is unavoidable. This lunation pulls up:
old wounds about not being heard, feeling abandoned, alone
moments where others didn’t meet you halfway
times you carried the emotional load alone
unresolved conflicts you thought you’d moved past
And with Mercury retrograde in Pisces, Aries is especially sensitive to the feeling that others aren’t evolving, aren’t listening, or aren’t acknowledging your needs. This isn’t imagined — the retrograde is dissolving old emotional boundaries, making past hurts feel freshly alive.
How to work with it: Aries is being asked to slow down, open the heart, and actually go into the feelings rising now instead of pushing through them. Accepting what’s coming up — without judgement, urgency, or self‑criticism — is part of the healing. It may take time, and that’s okay. What matters is that the clarity arriving now is real, overdue, and ultimately liberating.
♎ 2. Libra — the Moon is in your sign
Anything unbalanced, unspoken, or unresolved rises to the surface. This is a recalibration point — not a crisis.
How to work with it: Let yourself feel the imbalance instead of smoothing it over. Go into the discomfort, name what hasn’t been working, and allow the truth to rise without rushing to fix it. This is your moment to reclaim equilibrium from the inside out.
♋ 3. Cancer — emotional history resurfaces
Old attachment wounds, family patterns, or emotional imprints may return for integration.
How to work with it: Let the memories come. Don’t analyse them — feel them. This is emotional sediment rising to be released. Offer yourself softness, and allow the body to guide the clearing rather than the mind.
♑ 4. Capricorn — relational responsibilities shift
You may be renegotiating commitments, boundaries, or long‑standing dynamics.
How to work with it: Notice where you’ve been carrying more than your share. Let the weight you’re holding speak. Accept the feelings of fatigue, resentment, or duty that surface — they’re showing you where boundaries need to be rebuilt.
♓ 5. Pisces — Mercury retrograde amplifies everything
Forgotten feelings, old versions of yourself, and emotional echoes may feel vivid and immediate.
How to work with it: Let the emotional fog be part of the process. Instead of trying to make sense of everything, allow the feelings to move through you in waves. Acceptance brings clarity faster than analysis right now.
♏ 6. Scorpio — deep emotional material rises
Old betrayals, power imbalances, or intimacy wounds may resurface for release.
How to work with it: Go inward with honesty. Let the intensity move through your body rather than gripping it mentally. Accept the depth of what’s surfacing — it’s clearing space for a more authentic emotional landscape.
♊ Gemini — relational clarity lands
Old conversations, misunderstandings, or unfinished threads may resurface under this Full Moon. You might suddenly see the truth behind someone’s words, or recognise where communication has been uneven.
How to work with it: Let the feelings behind the thoughts rise. Don’t rush to explain, fix, or intellectualise what’s coming up. Go into the emotion first — the clarity you’re seeking comes from allowing the feeling to move through your body, not from analysing it in your mind.
♒ Aquarius — shifts in friendships & community
This lunation highlights where you’ve been over‑functioning, under‑receiving, or holding space for others without reciprocity. Old dynamics in friendships or group settings may feel suddenly obvious.
How to work with it: Let yourself feel the disappointment, detachment, or frustration without shutting it down. Accepting the emotion — rather than rationalising it — helps you recalibrate your energetic boundaries and choose connections that actually nourish you.
In Summary — What This Moment Is Really About
This Full Moon in Libra is bringing old emotions, memories, and relational patterns to the surface — not to overwhelm you, but to help you finally integrate what was left unfinished.
Whatever is rising — frustration, sadness, grief, nostalgia, or emotional intensity — the invitation is simple: go into the feeling instead of pushing it away. Let it move through your body. Let it be heard so it can be released. Let the truth become visible. Let the imbalance reveal itself so you can return to your centre with more honesty and ease.
This lunation isn’t here to destabilise you. It’s here to free you. To close old loops. To lighten the emotional load you’ve been carrying. To bring you back to yourself.
